Your Impact
Are you a senior philanthropy leader who believes fundraising should create lasting social change?
In this role, you will shape major giving and partnership strategy to support sustainable community impact for people experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage.
You will strengthen high-value philanthropic relationships, support long-term revenue sustainability, and translate mission into meaningful community outcomes while representing the organisation across key stakeholder networks.
This is a senior leadership opportunity to influence philanthropy strategy and help shape the future sustainability of community impact across the organisation.
The Role
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Marketing & Fundraising, you will lead philanthropy strategy across Major Donors, High Net Worth, Trusts & Foundations and Corporate partnerships. Specifically, you will:
- Shape philanthropy strategy aligned to Wesley Mission’s strategic plan
- Drive growth through acquisition, retention and engagement programs
- Develop compelling cases for support
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Lead and develop a specialist philanthropy team
- Collaborate across the organisation to strengthen fundraising programs
This is a strategic leadership role focused on sustainability, reputation and long-term impact.

What You Bring
You are an experienced philanthropy or major giving leader with a strong record of growing high-value fundraising programs. You are a trusted, emotionally intelligent leader motivated by purpose, partnership and community impact.
Key experience and capabilities include:
- Extensive experience in strategic fundraising across major donor, HNW, trust, foundation and corporate giving
- Demonstrated success delivering measurable philanthropy growth
- Strong commercial and analytical judgement
- Ability to develop compelling value propositions and supporter journeys
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
- Alignment with the Christian-inspired ethos guiding Wesley Mission’s work
