In this role, you will work directly with tenants to support successful tenancies, helping individuals and families maintain housing stability during times of vulnerability.
You will be a consistent, trusted point of contact — balancing empathy with clear boundaries, and ensuring people feel supported while meeting their tenancy obligations.
Your work will contribute to stronger communities by helping people remain safely housed, connected and supported.
The Role
Reporting to the Housing Team Leader, you will manage a portfolio of tenancies and deliver day-to-day housing services. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of social and/or affordable housing tenancies
- Supporting tenants to sustain their housing through proactive engagement
- Coordinating property inspections and addressing tenancy matters
- Working with tenants to manage arrears, maintenance issues and tenancy obligations
- Liaising with internal teams and external support services
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
This is a hands-on role that combines relationship management, administration and problem-solving in a community-focused environment.

What You Bring
You are a compassionate and organised professional with experience in housing, community services or a related field. You bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to build trust while managing complex situations. Your experience includes:
- Experience in housing, tenancy management or community services
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse client group
- Confidence managing challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Good administrative skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of tenancy legislation or willingness to learn
- A genuine commitment to supporting people to maintain stable housing
