EVENTS & FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR | CHILDREN'S CHARITY

Contract position | Full time | Hybrid Working | Three days in the office | Surry Hills
​The Role 

Based in Surry Hills and reporting the Corporate & Community Partnership Manager, in this hands-on and rewarding role, you will plan, coordinate and deliver a calendar of community engagement and fundraising events that strengthen community connections and support the organisation's mission.
 
The key areas of responsibility will be:
  • Planning, coordinating and executing the organisation's annual fundraising and community events.
  • Managing event logistics including catering, equipment hire, suppliers and venues.
  • Creating and distributing invitations and post-event communications.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and tracking RSVPs.
  • Developing and strengthening relationships with donors, partners, supporters and volunteers.
  • Coordinating and supporting the organisation's event volunteer program.
  • Sourcing raffle and auction prizes.
  • Supporting the development of event budgets and reporting.
  
This role is a six month contract role, commencing ASAP.

Additionally, you have:
  • Proven experience coordinating events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Confidence using digital tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently within established frameworks.
